Three leading Indianapolis area real estate teams merged into one to join Compass, the country’s largest independent real estate brokerage.

The new team of six, now known as the Sears and Syrus Realty Group, brings years of experience to the table. Principal Brokers Lisa Sears of the Sears Realty Group, Lindsay Sears of the Sears Team, and Zach Syrus of Syrus Realty lead the new Compass team as of March 1, 2022. Given the ever-evolving nature of the real estate industry, Sears and Syrus knew how beneficial combining their three very successful teams would be. Lisa Sears has been selling real estate since 1991. Along with her husband, Rod Sears, she previously owned and managed a RE/MAX franchise. Rod brings to the table years of experience as a custom builder and master carpenter by trade. Now retired from building and carpentry, Rod is focused only on selling real estate. The couple are long-time residents of the Geist area with three daughters and four grandchildren. Daughter Lindsay Sears was born and raised in the industry. She’s been selling real estate for 14 years. A resident of McCordsville and outdoor enthusiast, Lindsay is married with two children. Zach Syrus has been actively involved in the real estate industry, selling for more than 8 years. He’s a Geist resident and married with a beautiful daughter.

Chanel Esters has already made her mark in the two years she’s been in the industry. The former rookie of the year at a previous brokerage is an Indianapolis native and lover of all charitable events. Former Marshall University football player, Shavar Greer understand the importance of strategy, hard work, and execution. Over 13 years working as a solutions consultant, Shavar brings with him a passion for creating genuine lasting relationships, and the ability to make the complex simple. Born and raised in central Indiana, Jennifer Wharff brings an abundance of knowledge to the ever-changing market and a devotion to have a positive impact on the community and everyone that she meets. Prior to obtaining her real estate license, Jennifer attended the University of Cincinnati majoring in Real Estate.
